2009 Chardonnay
|
The color is pale straw. The aroma and flavors include; yummy toasted oak, ripe pears, hazelnuts, ripe summer apples, and sweet vanilla bean. The body is medium plus and delicious. A nice mineral streak of acidity keeps one’s palate fresh between sips. Our 2009 Chardonnay would be a perfect match with pasta, seafood and poultry entrees served with cream sauces and moderate to heavy seasoning. Look for this wine to age respectfully for a solid 5 to 6 years. Note that this wine has a tad more oak aroma and flavor than the 2008 Chardonnay.
